Michael A. Urbano, Esq., J.D., M.S., AES
Rocket Scientist
Michael Urbano graduated from ASU with his Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and a second Bachelor's Degree in Business.
He proceeded to earn two Master's degrees at the same time - both with Distinction - from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona, Florida. They were both in Aeronautical Science, which means he really is a rocket scientist!
Michael has also been a flight test engineer with both Boeing and McDonnel Douglas working on the AH64 Apache Helicopter program. Click here to see some of Michael's flying pictures.
He's currently a professor at Embry Riddle's extended campus teaching avaiation law to F-16 pilots who are earning their Master's Degrees.
Airborne Ranger and Pathfinder
Michael served in the US Army as a paratrooper, Airborne Ranger and Pathfinder with several Special Operation Units. His love of flying took him to flight school, where he was later assigned to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. He's been awarded with numerous Army medals and commendations, including the Purple Heart.
He credits his military training and experience for his unending loyalty and perserverance in the courtoom. With creeds like "Night Stalkers Don't Quit," "Rangers Lead The Way," and "Never leave a fallen comrade behind" tattooed in his mind, he's a tenacious and aggressive opponent that prosecutors prefer not to face. "I treat each and every client as if they were my own family member I'm defending, and I honorably protect and defend their rights and liberties."
Moving into Law
With his military experience, Michael got into law enforcement, working as a police officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, and later with the Los Angeles Police Department (reserve officer).
But the legal profession called his name. He earned his Doctorate in Juris Prudence from the University of Nevada.'s William S. Boyd School of Law. During school, he worked as a criminal defense student lawyer in Clark County and taught free classes on law topics to hundreds of Nevade residents.
Currently Michael Urbano is licensed to practice law in any court in Arizona as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He's a member of the Arizona Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
Michael works hard for his clients, but he also has some fun now and then. He's an avid classic car collector, a huge Beatles fan, and has been known to be a little outrageous.
